(Victoria G.) Opinions On Tally

          Tally's actions tell us that she wants to become "pretty" more than anything. She is also counting down the days till her "pretty" operation. Tally habits include talking about become "pretty almost every second of every day.  Tally likes to imagine what her new face could look like and what it will look like when she moves to New Pretty Town with the rest of the New Pretties. Now madder how hard Shay tries to convince Tally that become "pretty" isn't the best thing in the world, Tally con't imagine herself any other way. Tally isn't really the adventurous type, and she will only do them because she promised Shay. Tally and Shay also continually fight about becoming "pretty".
          I like Tally, although many people find that Tally's attitude is annoying, I believe that she has never known anything different. Sine the time she was 12 and became an Ugly society has been telling them that after the operation you won't be an Ugly.  What other way are you supposed to think when society has labeled you and then tells you that they can fix you.  Tally has always been told that the operation can fix you, that's all she wants to happen be fixed. Are you supposed to automatically think that you don't want to change? I also think that Shay might influence the way she thinks and open up more ways to d think or see the world.  That is why I like Tally.
