At this point in the story whether Tally tells David what she did or not could affect the rest of the story. I would also ask her why she hasn't told David. Even though I already know the answer. I would say that she should tell David. He has the right to know let Special Circumstances identify the Smoke.
I would ask her this because the longer she hasn't told him the longer she will be lying. I also would ask why she didn't tell Croy. He was trying to convince Shay that she didn't do anything. If she would've just said that she was the reason and explain why maybe it won't be as bad as when she tells David. Those are the two main questions I would ask.
I would ask one more question. How long until you tell David? As I have said before the longer she waits the more she has known who did it and hasn't told him. If she told them what had happen right when she made it to the Smoke she wouldn't be in this situation right now. She would also wouldn't have the guilty feeling she has now. If I had a talk with Tally this three questions is what I would ask.
I agree. I think Tally needs to tell David. The longer she waits the deeper the lie will get.
