In the book Uglies, the main character is Tally. Tally is a very adventurous girl who likes to explore around the both pretty and ugly town. I have learned that Tally doesn't mind breaking rules. For example she is an ugly and uglies aren't allowed to go to pretty town. Tally missed her best friend Peris that is a pretty now so she wears a mask of a pig and goes to pretty town. Tally was getting chased by pretties and finally she found Peris. Peris told Tally that she had to leave before she got caught so she jumped of the building with a vest on her and pulled the fire alarm and left pretty town.
Tally met a girl named Shay who told her that they should go to the outside which I believe is the real world. Tally was unsure about going because they could easily get caught. Shay then reminded her of what Tally did in pretty town. Shay and Tally went at night with their hover-boards and Tally discovered what a roller coaster was. This proves that Tally is a very curious person or she wouldn't have sneaked out to see what a roller coaster was. I really enjoy Tally because of how confident she is and so adventurous. Tally is also really fun to be around because she is basically not afraid to do anything.

ReplyDeleteI agree. I think shay will not get the surgery because she doesn't believe in that type of stuff. I also think that the outer land is the real world. I wonder what the government is for this book.
